Change hyperlink color in PowerPoint 2007
Hyperlink are used in presentations when the presenter wants to connect a slide, email address, webpage or file by adding a link in the slide. This link can be done via a picture, graph, text or object. In today’s PowerPoint tutorial however we will be focused on hyperlinks done through text and how to change the color.
Lets begin.
Below shows the current color of the hyperlink in my presentation. In this case the link feels a bit dark and may be difficult for the audience to see. So lets change it to a brighter color so it stands out.
To change this
- Go to the Design Tab located in the Microsoft Office Ribbon
- Choose the Colors button
This will open a drop down menu.
- Click the Create New Theme Colors option
A new window pane will appear. It is in this window that the color of the hyperlink can be changed.
- Scroll down to the Hyperlink option and change the color to the color of your choice. Then hit Save.
Here is a example of the new Hyperlink color. It stands out a more than the previous color.
