Hide PowerPoint Background Graphics
There are times when the background graphic can become a issue for a presenter. During the presentation the background graphics may distract the audience or even during printing, may cause some difficulty seeing the slides content.
This PowerPoint 2007 tutorial will show you how to remove the background graphics so that these kind of problems can be avoided.
For those that are not sure what the background graphic is. I have highlighted the graphic in the presentation below.
There are 2 ways to remove this. The first method is to
- Right click anywhere on the slide
- Choose the Format Background option at the bottom of the drop down menu
This will cause a new window pane to appear called Format Background
In the Fill section tick the Hide Background graphics
Ticking this option automatically removes the background graphic of the current slide, however if you want to remove the background image for all the slides. Simply click Apply to All
Below is how the image looks without the background graphic.
The 2nd method for Hiding a PowerPoint Background graphic is
- Go to the Design tab located in the Microsoft Ribbon
- Tick Hide Background Graphics option
Take note. This will only remove the graphic for the currently selected slide and not all the slides. The only way to remove graphics from all slides is to do the first method.
All done!!
