Customizing the Quick Access Toolbar
The Quick Access Toolbar is located above the Microsoft Ribbon. It contains the most commonly used functions to provide you with much more accessibility.
This tutorial will focus on the PowerPoint Toolbar, but same steps can be applied to other Microsoft Suite programs.
This toolbar can also be customized to suit the needs of the user, i.e adding and removing commands. To do this, simply click the downward arrow. The drop down menu will contain the following commands.
Adding a Quick Access Command
To add a command to the Quick Access Toolbar you would simply click its name. This will cause a check mark to appear to the left confirming that the command is currently added.
Removing a Quick Access Command
Similar to adding a command you would uncheck the command by clicking its name, this will remove the command from the Quick Access Toolbar.
